L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #196 Moving resources on/off a device
Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.
This tip is inspired by the forum post: How to download all Tools - Logos Forums
To select multiple resources in the library.
- non-continguous resources; hold down CTRL while selecting each resource
- continguous resources; hold down SHFT while selecting first and last resource in the block
- all resources: CTRL+A
To remove resource(s) from your device
- open library panel
- open information side panel in library
- select resource(s) to remove from your device
- select Downloaded
- click on "remove from device"
To add resource(s) to your device.
- open library panel
- open information side panel in library
- select resource(s) to add; it does not harm to include resources already on the device, so I used CTRL+A even though I only need to add 16 of the 17 selected
- click the download button
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Good writeup. Although this AM, another user confused.
A 'fortnight' ago, I was a confused user. With my library disappearing, I needed to re-download but in 'celllular-happy' chunks. And I had grouped the appropriate amount, and began downloading. Only to discover, I needed to stop the download. That's where confusion intruded.
A right-click on a downloading group allows what 'Cancel Download', which the Help file says 'interrupts' the download (which sounds and acts like, you're about to go over the waterfall; just prepare). Anyway multiple 'interrupts' and re-starts got me back on-track (no waterfall'ing).
But that's when I also discovered the library download controls don't interact with the update-downloading controls (which can involve the same resources). Updating meaning downloading, in Logos-ese.
