Print a List of Library Books

How can I print a list of the books in my library as a Word (docx) document.
A step by step way would be very much appreciated as I've never tried this
before in Logos 10.
Thanks for your help ASAP please.

Gerald

I would create a Bibliography document containing all the books in your Library and export that.
Background on working with bibliographies is at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016747291-Bibliography
To create one containing all the books in youir library, click the Add button, select a collection and then All Books
Then use the Print / Export function from the panel menu to export to Word
Does this give you what you need?

Hi Graham
Thanks for a very quick reply. Very helpful indeed. Is there any way the books listed in Word can be in alaphabetical order rather than name of author. Thanks again.

When I try this (on a subset) the books are listed in alphabetical order even though the authors names are shown first. Are you seeing something different?

If you go via the library print/export instead of the bibliography document, you'll get an xml/Excel document. This contains all library detail fields, so it is unwieldy to print directly - but you can order and filter in the library how you like it (e.g. first by type, then by author) and then in Excel hide/delete columns to select what you want to print from there. Or move the data you want in the order you want over from Excel to Word.
Have joy in the Lord!

Hi Graham
Thanks again for your reply. The list of books as you say are by and large in alaphetical order but some of them for some reason are not where they should be. I suppose it may depend on how the program reads them. It's good as it stand st the moment.
Kind regards
Gerald

Hi Gerald,
If you email me your Excel file (justin@alvinmbc.com) I would be happy to send it back to you as a properly sorted word document.
