Suppose I'm reading in a commentary and encounter a paragraph with multiple verse citations, is there a way to copy all of those verses to a passage list at one time rather than verse by verse?
Yes - select the paragraph and then, in the Passage List, use the Add ... selected text option

It is possible - but the only way I can see of doing it requires some work!
The following steps do get what you are looking for:

Set the Passage List to Compact View so it only shows the references. Right-click in the list and then click Select all in the popup menu Copy them using Ctrl/Cmd-C Paste the results of that into the selection box in the Copy Bible Verses tool Note - this copies them without any separating punctuation

Yes - pasting multiple lines into any box would only produce the first line.
A couple of steps would be eliminated if "Copy to clipboard" placed the passages in the first line.
