I'll suggest one.... every time someone post something on "Feedbear" and I go there, I have to login which then I have to search for the point I was going to vote on. Can't "Feebear" be made so that when I go there it can remember my login?

For now, after you do the login then use the back arrow. I think you have to do it two time but it will take you right back to the entry that you went there to vote on.

Regarding the Product Details section of a resource's product page:

It would be very helpful if an exhaustive list of metadata were presented.

If an item isn't available for the resource (such as 'Page Count'), then 'N/A.

The order of the list should be based on a consistent, traditional hierarchy, such as: Title-->Author-->Series, etc.
The vertical real estate could be streamlined / minimized by using three columns and a 'More' link.

I had the same impression. Some of the questions, I don't normally share these days.

There's the old saw ... don't share what you don't need to, and question requests for sharing, when not needed. But I'm wondering if they're qualifying people (for participation).

FL seems to be wanting to see how people actually use the products. Just guessing. Frankly, they could ask just one person (maybe their secretary) and do wonders for the site.

EDIT: Ok, I retract everything I wrote. Yesterday I got a refund; they sent an email to see how it went (after the email for 'watch all these videos, since our software is so complicated but our apologists love it'). Anyway, they had the usual trick ... you click on the number of stars on the email and it pops you into another site (FL? a contractor?, safe?). But the refund guy did a great job, so it was an opportunity complement him. I gave him top marks, and hit the submit button .... and more questions ... more submit buttons. I killed it. Apologies to the refund guy.

AND FINALLY (ignore, of course): I used to have a survey division (large company; gazillion customers). The big problem was customer reluctance vs trying to improve the company with representative thoughts. But these days, with so much data-retention and selling-data, surveying is itself, a question mark.

If Logos.com filters could include AND NOT for each filter selection, that would be a game changer. For example, when I'm browsing Logos.com, I NEVER want to see fiction resources, so it would be just GREAT if I could turn off search results that are fiction.

The biggest change I would like to see implemented in the website is:

1. Allow us to make extra payments/pay off our payment plans through the website

Functionality-wise the search parameter "not" for the facets has been already named and would be my second-strongest candidate or annoyance-point. It would also help to work around the biggest nuisance: incomplete and inconsistent metadata. Please please fix them! There's a long thread with small things we users find (which gets worked on, thanks for that, keep that up!), but those sometimes seem to be symptoms of underlying larger issues.

As a practical example from last week: Sorting the unowned type:commentary books available to me by savings (in itself a workaround to try make something from the best commentaries sale), I would have liked to filter out the Spanish language books. Why not just go for English language? Because I can't be confident that every book has been assigned a language and I would miss out on those that haven't.

Number three on my list would be a stronger search function that less often gives up (possibly also helpful for this: if you retire a resource from the store for any reason, keep the product page with an unavailable button rather than taking the page down). I'm noting that quite often I can find books now through the library's "add to library" search, which helps but I don't think the store page should need this workaround.

My suggestions that come immediately to mind:

1. Fix the pricing so that for example, collections do in fact offer a price improvement not a penalty over buying individual resources in the collection.

2. If a collection has been preordered, so the individual books in that collection as preordered through the collection somehow - so I don't end up ordering individual books too

3. Add a description more meaningful than what I see on Amazon (many look like they are copied verbatim from Amazon)

4. Speed up the responsiveness of the site. It's S-L-O-W

5. Filters are great - can you add more filter types?

6. For filters - add the capability of 'NOT' - so it's much easier to say for example, "Show me everything except ebooks, audio"

My only comment about Logos.com other than what has been said is integrating purchasing stores' wishlist. E.g., I have wishlist items on logos.com that has no ready access when I get my monthly ebooks.

Hiya Taylor,

I, and many others would like to see a Logos maintained training section of the website. Lots of us have struggled with becoming proficient with Logos (I hear, but don't subscribe to the old maxim that "the price of sophistication is complexity")... the fact is that Logos is not an intuitive application. New users are confronted with an overwhelming array of features and levels of increasingly complex menus that many/most simply walk away from. Some of us come back and try again, some of us subscribe to LearnLogos.com, some even travel to a Camp Logos and incur additional expense in the form of tuition/lodging/meals/travel/etc.

ALL of this hogwash is easily avoided: Logos (the company), pay the existing (excellent) training providers to design a SoupToNuts searchable training site that gently leads the new user from Introduction through the deeper intricacies of the application. Well ordered Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Geek (including Greek) (original languages, yada, etc) SOLVES this recurring issue. If the cottage industry of specialized Logos trainers is the sticking point, then hire them to fix it, eh? Maybe partner with Morris Proctor's heirs to subscribe all Logos users to their site at no additional expense to the end user. However, it is an inescapable fact that Logos continues to ignore and therefore lose revenue from our small gene pool because the software isn't approachable (easily).

These $0.02 are biodegradable and pose no threat to squirrels, small children, or other furry friends.

One other suggestion from me...

This happens frequently, but an example is the Zondervan sale web page; I just got an email to check it out. So it has 4-5 different sections of types of resources. Kudos that the buttons per resource are greyed out if I own that resource! But - after about the first section, when you get to a new section's "See more" button and click it, as it expands that section it loses my place on the page - throwing me further down the page and I have to scroll back to find where I left off. The difference in where I get thrown vs where I was gets worse as I move down through sections.

I assume many people are going to browse this page to see what's available - why not just show all the resources at once? Or if the 'See more' buttons are preferred, don't lose my place on the page! In web development I am sure your devs know you can use different techniques to determine at least an approximate internet speed of the user; if it's high speed, just display the whole page; enough with all the "See more" buttons.

Like I said, this happens frequently - any sale where there are multiple sections that need to be expanded. This needs to be fixed.

The greying out of owned resources is excellent but not always implemented. For instance, the current Best Commentaries Sale requires me to individually go through each book of the Bible and then click on every single commentary to find out if I have it, because the "Add to cart" button is not greyed out on the sales page, only on the page of the individual commentary.

Hi. I'm not sure exactly where to put this request/comment, and I can't see anything recent in a forum search, so I'll ask here.

The disappearing menu bar at the bottom of the mobile app is driving me nutty. I have to move my reading page up and down, up up up and down down down, again and again to get the menu to show up, invariably losing my place. About half the time it doesn't appear at all. Then when I try to move back to my place before using the menu, the blinkin' thing disappears again! It should take ½ a second to access a menu, at the same time keeping your place in the reading pane. Is there a way to fix the menu in place, or show a simple button to bring it up? That would certainly improve my personal Logos experience, lol.

-Please take down reviews from people who clearly haven't read the book they're reviewing. They skew the ratings and mislead potential buyers. Having something like a "Verified Purchase" marker like the big A does would be a step in the right direction.

When there is no menu bar at the bottom displayed, tap the top of your screen. In my case, the menu bar then appears. Is this what you are looking for?

When there is no menu bar at the bottom displayed, tap the top of your screen. In my case, the menu bar then appears. Is this what you are looking for?

Well, either nothing happens, I select a paragraph, or the progress bar appears at the top, which brings up a menu below. It's hit and miss, and depends on what you've got on your screen. I just want to be able to keep the menu ON and not have to play whack-a-mole with it every time!

I have an example of a frustratingly obtuse practice on logos.com that needs to change. My eye immediately goes to "One" and not "Two." I think Oh, this is a Logos Edition not a Research Edition. But, I call my rep to see if there are any deals on this title and find after a back and forth that this is a Reference edition and I would find that information by clicking Learn More.

Here is an idea, why not front the information at "One" and instead of Logos Edition call it Reference Edition. And if it is a Readers Edition call it that and not a Logos Edition which just confuses the customer. And if you must tell us what we get with this edition put that in Learn More don't hide vital information from the customer that they will only learn if they are educated by a sales rep.

In my mind community.logos.com is within scope of suggestions for logos.com. How about an upgrade to the forum software? The forum should be designed to be mobile first and friendly. Also, searching of forum content needs to be improved. We shouldn't have to rely on Google site search to do the heavy lifting.

This awkwardization would be even more confusing for a new customer. You + I don't like how this is done, + we have been around the Logos maypole for a while. BA.
