Please spare a thought for international customers!
As a Windows user, I am delighted for my Mac brothers and sisters with the announcement of the gold release for the 1 October 2010.
It is just a pity that those of us based outside of N. America don't get to join in the party 
This is slightly tongue-in-cheek, but it would be good if Logos found someway of including international customers in the competitions... Particularly given it seems there are a growing number of us

Provided we get to win it [:P] I agree it would be nice Andy. But then in another sense we are winners simply because we have found and use Logos Bible Software and as a the icing and cherry on top of the cake we have these forums.

You're absolutely right. The west of Scotland is for people born with webbed feet. However, on the Moray Firth Riviera we only get about 19" of rain per year. The climate is equable – never too cold and never too hot. The population density is lower. The crime rate is practically non-existent. It's such a blessing just being able to live here that obviously we don't require any compensations. [ip] [:D] [;)]

Obviously, if you want the contest to be in your country, you should have built the software before the Logos crew did.[:P]

That would be the correct answer. It's hard enough just to mail a disc to some countries; we're terrified of accidentally committing some kind of lottery/sweepstakes/financial-fraud violation. I want my international travel to be unrestricted by the threat of prison! :-)

Just caught your response Bob. I always thought that was the case. Within a country their can be different laws and permits that need to be negotiated across state boundaries so international boundaries would cause serious headaches. And as much as we would all like a shiny new MacBook Pro we don't want it to cost you a prison term .....although some solitary confinement with a shiny new MacBook Pro loaded with Logos 4 for MAC for a period of time does have its appeals.

I thought I read somewhere that New Englanders have kept the accent closer to the way it was back when we split off from the mother land than the Brits have.
