L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #282 Forget the Search: Did Eve experience a theophany?
Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.
This tip is inspired by the forum post: My main critique of Logos to this day... - Logos Forums
Yes, this tip requires a good memory - first to remember what kinds of events are labeled, second to remember when Logos quit updating the Bible browser with new labels.
To find if Eve experienced a theophany:
- Open Bible Browser
- Expand the Theophany tab
- Expand the Beholder tab
- Scroll/expand down to Eve
- Select Eve
Note: if Eve wasn't on the list it would mean Logos never tagged a theophany in which she was a beholder.
Of course, if you really have your heart set on it, you can use a search to find the same information. The top search looks for Eve as the beholder, the bottom search looks for Eve in any role.
Note Logos built the labels precisely because these events are very hard to build Bible text searches to find them, Don't try to bypass the labels.
