Unlinking Song slide text boxes

Is there a way to unlink song slides? Meaning, right now when you bring in a song every slide is exactly the same and if you change format on one it changes the others. I’d like to format one slide w/in a song while keeping the smart media the same on the others w/in the same song.

Not currently.... Although, we have kicked around the idea of an "explode" slides feature. This would essentially break the song up into just individual slides, so you could then edit as you please.
This isn't a great idea necessarily, as you'd then lose any benefit of the song item (or bible or content item). And you'd have to be sure to do things in the right order.
Another idea would be to just change how Songs, bibles, and contents work such that you could edit individual slides more easily. But that might be a bigger change.
What are your thoughts on these approaches?

That makes sense. I think a good solution Could be coding it in a way that allows us to apply a smart media layout to a specific slide. An example
being a song in which there are two parts like ”you are worthy“ where 1/2 sing one part while the others sing the 2nd part, being able to apply a template to the one slide so it has two column instead of one.
Since the feature to create custom smart media is already there, it wouldn’t be hard to create a custom template, have a check box that indicates your only applying it to the selected slide And not the entire song.
I get having It connected makes the majority of songs easy, but having that feature would be helpful.
I was able to come up with a work around for now.
I just deleted the text from the linked text box (leaving the Chorus 2 heading in the verse order), then added two new text boxes and put the textin the textbox lines below the song lyrics instead. Granted there’s still an empty text box that I can’t delete but it seems to have worked. It’s not perfect but it’s a work around if there’s no way to unlock the text boxes. Really we don’t need the slides unlinked, just the text boxes on those slides.0
