bullets in Notes

In the Notes tool, is there a way to have different bullets as in Word?
If not (it doesn't appear to be possible), what are some workarounds people have used?
Thank you Forum members!

Notes uses a rich text editor with relatively simple formatting (like in the forum post tool) so there is just one bullet style.
The only way I can think of changing them is to copy and paste them into a word processor (e.g., Word) and then copy them back (overwriting your original note).
Hope this helps.

Thank you, Chris, for the work around. I guess I'll always keep an empty Word file with 3 different bullets in it. Then I can copy these bullets onto the Note when I need it. Alternatively, if I am at a desktop, I can write the Note in Word and transfer it. Both are painful options unfortunately.[:(]

You don't need to copy the bullets one-by-one, which would indeed be a painful workaround. Just write the Note in Logos, then copy the entire Note from Logos into Word, reformat it with the correct bullet style, and then copy and paste it back again. Still not ideal, but better than that other solution you imagined would be necessary.

Thank you Rosie.
I am a bit surprised that Logos doesn't have the simple ability to have different bullet points and different indenting schemes. As a layman, I will find bullets/indenting schemes useful to make my Note easy to read, Logos's primary audience of seminarians and pastors should find it that much more helpful.
If there is already a request for such features, I would like to add my vote.

Perhaps you don't remember the LONG years of bugging Logos to implement a full-featured Note editor. They didn't want to reinvent the wheel, since there are already word processors out there. So Notes were basically just a Notepad for entering plain text, with perhaps the ability to add links, and not much else. I think eventually they added bold and italics and underline, but not all the other formatting options they have now until a major overhaul happened at some point.
So I wouldn't hold my breath for them to add different bullet points and more indenting schemes. It might seem simple to us, but everything takes development time, and that would have to come at the expense of something else they might prioritize more highly.

Thanks Rosie.
I am relatively new to Logos, so I don't know what all Logos has tried to give us in terms of features.
If I were at my Desktop/Laptop, it seems like taking notes in Word and transferring to Notes tool would seem to be the best option.

I have created notes in Notes in Logos, copied them to Word and back again... and then finally gave up and just use Notes in Logos... I think I'm getting lazy... [8-|]
