In the Notes tool, is there a way to have different bullets as in Word?
If not (it doesn't appear to be possible), what are some workarounds people have used?
Thank you Forum members!
Notes uses a rich text editor with relatively simple formatting (like in the forum post tool) so there is just one bullet style.
The only way I can think of changing them is to copy and paste them into a word processor (e.g., Word) and then copy them back (overwriting your original note).
Hope this helps.
Chris
Thank you, Chris, for the work around. I guess I'll always keep an empty Word file with 3 different bullets in it. Then I can copy these bullets onto the Note when I need it. Alternatively, if I am at a desktop, I can write the Note in Word and transfer it. Both are painful options unfortunately.[:(]

You don't need to copy the bullets one-by-one, which would indeed be a painful workaround. Just write the Note in Logos, then copy the entire Note from Logos into Word, reformat it with the correct bullet style, and then copy and paste it back again. Still not ideal, but better than that other solution you imagined would be necessary.
Thank you Rosie.
I am a bit surprised that Logos doesn't have the simple ability to have different bullet points and different indenting schemes. As a layman, I will find bullets/indenting schemes useful to make my Note easy to read, Logos's primary audience of seminarians and pastors should find it that much more helpful.
If there is already a request for such features, I would like to add my vote.
