Right-click menu

Has anything been said regarding the upcoming availability of a right-click menu with which a different bible can be chosen?  I normally use the original languages, but if I simply want to check to see what a passage says as I'm reading another resource, it would be simpler to choose an English language bible.  I don't see this as being available now.

    Is this what you mean:

Right click the reference and select Bible.

Just put the bibles you want in your Prioritize list - I put a Gk one there to be sure the selection had nothing to do with the language of the source resource.

You can also chose power lookup from the right click menu under the bible reference and it will open up the Power Lookup pane with your prioritised english bibles for those verses.

(you need to set it then to not follow if you would like to do anything else and refer back to those verses - one of my pet peeves)

Yes, it now appears, but prior to rebooting the other bibles did not appear.

I must be looking like George looked before he rebooted. Rebooting didn't work for me but I like what I see if it ever fires up.

Ed, it looks to me like you have selected more than the reference: you've got a space in the front and the semicolon at the end.  Don't select it first, just right click on the reference, and you should see the Bible tab.

Thanks, but I still get a screen that looks exactly the same. I thought you had it when I read your post.

Make sure you right click when the pointer becomes a "hand"! Do you have the problem everywhere?

Yes, I am getting the hand and right clicking but I am missing the list of five Bibles that should appear as shown in my screen shot above. Thanks for your help!

Make sure that "Bible" is selected in the right-hand column of the menu,

and not "Selection". Otherwise you won't see the Bible list.

Todd thanks! That was it. Now at he risk of missing something else obvious can you tell me why I have to use the scroll bar to see the full list of five Bibles in your screenshot they are all visible? Thanks again.

Don't really know. I'd guess it has to do with the size of your window or your screen.  Logos will have to answer that one.   My monitor is 1280x1024.

Ed ~  do you have Program Scaling in Tools | Program Settings increased above 100%?  That may be bringing the scroll bar into play.  ~ Melissa

    Melissa,

Yes, I was set to 140 but I changed it to 100, logged out and then logged back in and it still looks the same. Although my font sizes changed. See screen shot below.

It looks like you've got a few customized guides that are pushing the list of resources down: "Copy of Bible Word Study" and "Untitled Guide". (I didn't actually know those went on the context menu...)

It doesn't look like there's enough vertical room on your resolution to fit the whole list of resources, but if you're not using those customized guides, deleting them should allow two more resources to be shown (before scrolling is necessary).

To delete a customized guide, open the guide menu and right-click on the guide name; choose "Delete".

Thanks that got me three Bibles before scrolling.

So it is resolution then?  Because I had two custom PGs on my list too, but I could see everything without scrolling.

I tried all of these1024 X 768, 800 X 600, 1280 X 768 and I only had less on my screen. I am set now at 1280 X 800 and get the best results with three Bibles. I have an external monitor at church I will see what I get there now that I know to check the Bible tab.

I had an earlier problem with the ESV not displaying the Interlinear ribbon but it is now working fine. My display driver is a Mobile Interl(R) 965 Chipset Family with a driver date of 2/15/2009. I had a newer one but I was having conflicts which started after loading L4 but they were more related to the Logos Bible Software Forum (the formatting toolbar would not show) so I didn't think it had anything to do with the software.
