Sources for Personal Books
Dear Friends,
In the Seventh-day Adventist faithlife group there are several personal books available for download.
How could I find other older works like Treasury of David, Keil and Deilitzich, JFB, Adam Clarke, etc.that are available free in resources like Esword, etc. that have been made into Personal books for use in Logos?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
I'm not an SDA, but saw your post under "Recent Topics" so I thought I'd chime it to try to be helpful.
You could search the "User Contributed Personal Books" page on the Logos wiki for any authors or titles you can think of.
All of those works you mention are ones that are sold by Logos, so we are not really supposed to share personal book versions of them, as it would take potential sales away from Logos, even if they are in the public domain and are available free in other places.
- The Treasury of David (6 vols.)
- Keil and Delitzsch Commentary on the Old Testament | K-D (10 vols.)
- Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown's Unabridged Commentary on the Old and New Testaments (6 vols.)
- Adam Clarke's Commentary on the Bible (6 vols.)
These are all Logos Research Editions, so they have put in considerable work tagging them to be more than what's available free elsewhere. Yes, a PB creator would add value as well, but still, it would compete with Logos, so they prefer we not share them publicly. So the best you can hope for is that someone has privately done this work and might share it with you. But these are all substantial works, so converting them to PBs would be a huge labor of love. Given that they are available for purchase from Logos, it's unlikely anyone would have done that work, but you never know. Good luck! 🤞
