This came recommended indirectly through the Regent College alumni grapevine. I have various friends who are disabled with spinal cord injuries or other disabilities that leave them in wheelchairs, and I know people who work or have worked in the field of helping such people or advocating for them. So it's an area of deep interest to me, even though I've never experienced a mobility disability myself.

"This is one of the best books I've read on theology of disability"
"Crippled Grace raises a significant issue that is not news to the disability sector but would come as a bolt from the blue for those who identify as able-bodied. None of us wants to think of ourselves as unaware or cavalier towards those with visible and invisible disabilities, but if we're serious about challenging our own able-ism, this is a must-read."
