Philip Jenkins is a very readable church historian who takes us through the less exposed history (Oriental Christianity, use of apocrypha) and the current situation. He also writes on the history of interpretation of specific passages from a position of faith. Currently available in Logos are:
- The Many Faces of Christ: The Thousand-Year Story of the Survival and Influence of the Lost Gospels | Logos Bible Software
- Crucible of Faith: The Ancient Revolution That Made Our Modern Religious World | Logos Bible Software
- The Great and Holy War: How World War I changed religion for ever | Logos Bible Software
Suggestions to vote for:
- The Lost History of Christianity: The Thousand-Year Golden Age of the Church in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-and How It Died | Logos
- The New Anti-Catholicism: The Last Acceptable Prejudice by Philip Jenkins | Logos
- The Next Christendom: The Coming of Global Christianity by Philip Jenkins | Logos
- Jesus Wars: How Four Patriarchs, Three Queens, and Two Emperors Decided What Christians Would Believe for the Next 1,500 years by John Philip Jenkins | Logos
- He Will Save You from the Deadly Pestilence: The Many Lives of Psalm 91 by Philip Jenkins | Logos
This is a selected list of his works, ones to get Logos to recognize his usefulness in their offerings
