BUG- Dictionary of the New Testament Use of the Old Testament not tagged properly
Just purchased the above resource and to test the tagging put it at the top of my prioritization. It fails to locate known headwords and as such is not included in the Topic Guide or the Power Lookup. If it does find a headword it is wrong such as Sin goes to Sinai. There is an article on Sin. With this not populating it diminishes the value significantly.
Please advise or I will simply return the resources.

Yes, the resource is "messed up" as there are two headwords assigned to the actual headword "sin"

I made a note on the case to request that a update be posted when this is resolved, but I can't guarantee (and wouldn't necessarily expect) any follow through on that. The content team doesn't usually post updates like that.

I am bumping this since Logos is selling this resource on sale and it is featured in this month's MP webcast. The usefulness of a dictionary is to be able to get to the headings and populate heading searches.
Please try and get this resource fixed.

Thank you for keeping the deficiencies of this resource before the team at Logos. Am I right in thinking that these bugs won't interfere with results you obtain when used as part of a collection in a custom guide as demonstrated in the MPSeminar webinar on this topic?

Hi Beloved,
I don't think so since that is a search on a bible reference (milestone) and not a headword search that all dictionaries should allow. While that suggestion for use of the resources is a good one, it is not the only way I would expect this or any dictionary to provide results. It for example will not properly populate in Factbook or Topic Guide. The dictionary has an entry (headword) for marriage. If you go to marriage in the topic guide there will not be an entry under the dictionaries section for this dictionary because the headword tagging is not correct.

However, as you readily admit this resource will function as intended with its partner resources when used for the purpose of engaging with the NTUOT and even the OTUOT alongside our choice of Bible.

I did test the collection included in a guide as outlined by MP seminars and it works, but sometimes the heading in the dictionary is ambiguous or just off by one heading. So, a fix to the resource will help using it in a collection as well.

We missed the cut-off for getting Factbook support out by a day. Right now it's looking like it will go out with the next batch of resource updates on July 30.
