No reading aloud in Christian History Magazine?

I noticed this morning that start reading aloud will not work in Christian History Magazine.

Also I just started playing with it.

  • Initially I thought that reading aloud does not work with the Crossway classic commentaries (tested 1 cor).  But I later found out that it refuses to read the introduction and preface type material.  This is also true of the MacArthur Commentaries. (I read introductions, why won't the computer even attempt it?)
  • Will not even attempt to read MacArthur's alone with God.

In fact I'm finding on many of the plain old reading books (not reference) which I'd actually want to hear read to me, I can't with the read aloud feature.

Frequently I'm seeing that the read aloud option isn't even in the menu.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

    Thomas,

You need to move your computer out of the library.  We must maintain silence in the library so others can concentrate.  [;)]

    Sorry Mr. Somsel.  [:p]

On Topic: I'm finding weird stuff.  I can read from the title page forward in some books, and only at chapter 1 and forward in other books.  Is this a bug?  do you need this list to become exhaustive or is this some kind of a known issue that doesn't need specifics at this point?

The Read Aloud function might be affected by the age of the resources, and appears to work only when there is a populated reference box. I'm looking into this behavior.

Thanks Melissa.  As far as resource age, the Christian History magazines are about a week old.
