So, I am trying to go to a passage in the search bar of a bible section, but when I hit return, instead of going to the new passage, it returns to the existing one. See video above.

I haven't experienced this but your issue sounds similar to what is mentioned in the following posts. If it is, Faithlife is aware of the problem.
