The disk of my Iogos pro is full as you can see on the picture shown below
You need to free more disk space ASAP
- empty the Recycle Bin
- run Disk Cleanup (type that in the Windows Start menu)
- click Clean up system files (at the bottom)
- select anything over 2 MB
- click OK
- get/run a free utility like Wisecare 365
- delete little used applications (even temporarily).

.Is it possible to upgrade it witth SSD?
You have a 7 year old laptop computer with Windows 10 that can't be upgraded to Windows 11 and upgrading with an SSD is very technical. Provide details of the laptop make/model to see if there is room for another drive.
However, I would advise you to get a new computer, especially as the CPU only has 2 slow cores. Get a modern i5 laptop with 1 TB SSD and 16 GB memory.

You can get a 1 terabyte SSD laptop with a modern processor for $500, at least in the US.

Yes, it is (I've done this with my previous computer some years ago), but it's very technical and there's the risk of some apps not running at all after the disk swap. Overall I'd support Dave's advise that you should get a new machine. If this is not a possibility in the short run, and the stopgap measures he advised don't give you more room on your HD, I'd suggest buying an external SSD to be connected via USB. You can then move your Logos installation and other stuff to the SSD, which will help freeing your HD to allow Windows to work. Running Logos off an external SSD is not officially supported but works very well (I did it for years), make sure it is formatted as NFTS file format.

For what it's worth.... upgrading is not worth the hassle anymore. Dave said it right. Get a new machine. I went through this sometime back. I opted to go with a laptop instead of a desktop. Been very happy ever since.

Tes,
Even if you are like some of us who do enjoy working on the insides of a computer, I agree with Dave Hooton’s suggestion of purchasing a new computer with the minimum specifications he lists. You will have a faster and more powerful processor, faster and larger memory, and faster and larger storage space.
If that is outside of your price range for now, I would suggest purchasing an external SSD (1TB minimum). This could then be used as backup or extra storage on any new computer you purchase in the future. While I am partial to Crucial brand products, most any other name brand will likely fit your needs. Keep in mind though that if your current computer does not have a USB-C port, you may need to purchase an adapter for some newer external devices.

A modern laptop should have Windows 11. Check that a Windows 10 machine can be upgraded before you buy (Settings > Windows Update will have a message indicating that it is possible or not).
Windows 10 support ceases in Oct 2025 and you will then find that Logos is no longer supported.

Unfortunately, none of the machines I have can be upgraded to Win 11. What type of laptop should it be Lenevo? Or any other?
Thank you Dave and all of you for the invaluable advice and recommendations and for making me aware of the Window 10 support expiration date.Blessings in Christ.

I also had a 7-year-old laptop with a 256GB SSD that was getting full. I also couldn't upgrade it to Windows 11, so rather than buy a bigger hard drive, I just bought a new laptop.
Here's the one I got:
Inspiron 14-inch 2-in-1 Laptop with 13th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor | Dell USA | Dell USA
13th Gen Intel i7 (you don't need an i7, an i5 will do as Dave suggested, this one just happened to be an i7 for a pretty good price)
1TB SSD
16GB RAM
I've been using it since November and I like it, I've had no issues.

The other alternative, if you can, is upgrade to a new computer dedicated to Logos. Make sure it comes with SSD 500GB or 1TB for storage and at least 16GB memory.

Definitely Win 11. Win 11 has been out since October 5, 2021, so it has stabilized by now, and there is little reason to buy a new machine with Win 10 on it. In fact, you'd probably have a hard time finding a new machine being sold with Win 10 on it, since it will cease being supported on Oct 14, 2025. Even if you buy a used/refurbished computer that has Win 10 on it, make sure you get one that can run Win 11 and upgrade it immediately. But I would counsel you to avoid the hassle and just go with a Win 11 computer from the start.

I do not recommend this laptop as it is underpowered with the Celeron N4500 processor. It is difficult for me to bring up a laptop for delivery to your country, but you need an i3 processor at least.

It's really hard to help you with this from across the ocean. Do you have any friends in Germany who know anything about computers? They don't have to care about Logos, but with the knowledge from Dave that you need an i3 processor at least in order to run Logos, you can ask a local friend who knows the German tech lingo to help you buy one for a reasonable price. Actually the Logos recommended hardware includes an i7 processor or higher, so maybe an i3 would run Logos pretty slowly. You could show a German friend these requirements and have them help you get a suitable laptop.
Or...using the site Wolfgang provided for refurbished laptops, here's an HP ZBook with an i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM (Logos's recommended minimum), a 500 GB SSD (Logos recommended minimum), a 15.6" screen (nice larger size), and Windows 11 Professional, for 499,00 €. It would be hard to find a better price than that for that much speed, memory, and disk space. Maybe you could recoup some of the money by reselling your old one once you upgrade.

Yes ,I mean GB. If I buy 512 GB, I will only have 112 GB left, so it is useless. As you mentioned, one TB would be better. Regarding the price issue, my wish is to buy a used one for 300 euros. it may be unlikely to get with that price. when it is found then I can see what I can do.

Here's one with an i7 processor, 16 MB RAM, 1 TB SSD, and Windows 11, though it's a smaller screen (13,3"). It's 369,00 €. I think you will have a very hard time finding something for only 300 € that will run Logos satisfactorily and will have enough disk space for you. You might need to wait and save up your pfennigs.

I don't believe your current budget is enough to get a computer with the specs you need. You're unlikely to find a used one that is new enough to run Windows 11 at that price, and you certainly won't find a new one for that price. You may just have to wait and save up until you can afford a little more. I think a more realistic price range would be 500-600.
Since you've cleared up 20GB, I think you should hang on and not rush into a decision. Wait until you have enough money to get the right PC for your needs.
