We'd love to have you join our Logos Pro (early access) beta testing group! These early access features require a license. To gain a temporary license during the beta period, please become a follower of this Faithlife group. The license will expire when the feature(s) is released to the stable channel.

Thanks for being a part of the future of Logos! Smile

If I'm running the mobile beta (via the Verbum app) and I'm already subscribed to Logos Pro, is there any benefit in joining the the group?

I was just wondering the same thing!

Does the "Caution -- Might loose some data"  still apply?

xn = Christan  man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

Probably less likely than on desktop - but still a possibility

Yes. By joining the group, you will have early access to Logos Pro features that are not yet available in the subscription, but are in beta. You wouldn't be able to see these early access features just by being on the normal mobile beta app. By joining the Logos Pro (early access) Beta group you are given a special license to Logos Pro beta features.

@Ali I have joined and followed that group, and my Android app has been upgraded to version 33.0.0. I now have access to the Smart Search function in the mobile app. So far, so good.

But there are two other features which I thought I would have access to with the temporary beta license, but I definitely can't access at the moment:

    1. Search results summaries - I can see the option to summarise results in the Smart Search, but in every single one of the results the Summarise option is greyed out. If I tap the Summarise button anyway, I get the message, "Summarisation is not available for this book".
    2. Article summarisation - This menu option doesn't appear in any of the places I expect it based on the mobile screenshots posted by @Ali in the dedicated mobile thread for this feature. I conclude that I do not have access to this feature.

Am I missing something? Have I not been properly temporally licensed?

    Thanks.

@Ali - I joined yesterday but am still running 32.0 on my mobile.

Have you followed the instruction at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/213382.aspx ?

You need to do this to actually get access to the beta app

You are properly licensed. The reason you aren't seeing Search Result Summaries or Summarization on mobile is because both of those features have been released to the Logos Pro subscription for purchase now. They were previously in beta. Once a feature is released to Logos Pro for purchase, we remove its license in the beta group.

I'm using the new search feature. Please tell me there is a way to stop it from trying to sell me new books LOL. The search is brining up tons of resources I don't own. I need it to behave and just show me what I already own. Thx :)

Hi Mike - and welcome to the forums

The search is brining up tons of resources I don't own.

Running an All Search shows results from books in the Logos catalog not just ones you own.

If you switch to a Books Search - and set it to run a Smart Search - it will just show results from books you own
