I am putting this as a Verbum suggestion and not bothering with the feedback site because philosophy appears to be a prerequisite to theology primarily in Catholic circles ... yet Verbum is very light on the relevant contemporary philosophical topics. The series Elements in the Philosophy of Religion is to be recommended as it breaks the field down in a manner that allows the reader to gain some depth of understanding in questions of interest to them rather than an overview of everything. Several of the volumes should have wide appeal across denominations. See Cambridge University's site on the series: Elements in the Philosophy of Religion (cambridge.org)
