The menu crash continues to take place in Sequoia beta 3

Thanks Greg! I did not even try that - so it is with me also.
Also, when I right click to copy out of information panel to say copy just "definition" it will not work, you have to copy the entire column.

Can also confirm same thing on Sequoia Beta 3.

This should be resolved when v36 Beta 1 ships.

I am using 34.1.0.0009. I upgraded to Sequoia and now Logos will not work properly. It crashes when I click on the ... menu or when I click on "Logos" in the main menu. This happens on both my Intel Mac (3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i9), and my M2 MBP. Is there a newer beta version I can download?

No, the current Logos betas are suffering the same issue. Unfortunately, your choices are to tough it out or reinstall Sonoma.

Thanks for the prompt response. I suppose I can tough it out. The key elements that I need for message preparation are all working.

Betas are not for BABIES [:P]
I am surprised that so much does work. I don't know when I will stop this beta stuff - probably never.

I love being on the bleeding edge. If I remember, the early Sonoma betas made Logos virtually unusable, but with Ventura, Logos never seemed to notice anything was different. FWIW, the rest of my software (several Adobe apps, Scrivener, Office) are fine with Sequoia.

My pleasure! I spend about 20 hours a week in Logos. I use Command Option F to float windows, and Command Shift - and + for text sizes. I really miss being able to set up new link sets, but I have a saved layout with the ones I need. Keyboard Shortcuts are good things to know.

My main sermon prep is for copy paste in Pages. I love how Logos inserts from Pages ala ONLINE BIBLE. That is what made me switch to Mac many years ago.
Does your right click Word Study work? Like when you right click a word and the window opens. Mine opens but word study is not there unless they moved it.

ah, a kindred spirit! I loved Online Bible!
Right click works for word study but not spell check.

Using Sequoia beta 3 and the latest beta of Logos (is it RC1?) - it launches and is usable. However, if you tap anything from the Menubar for the app it immediately crashes

Same problem here. Most of the features still work flawlessly. Clicking the "..." menu and the "Logos" menu instantly crash the program. I suppose there are workarounds. There always are. So far, it has not affected my ability to prepare sermons. I too am a beta junky. I can't resist playing with the latest toys.

I must say I have never floated a window before and still do not see the value of it, but I LOVE the shortcut. Thanks. I always resize my fonts using the "..." menu. Now that I can't do that I will definitely use the font size shortcut. Thanks for making my life just that much easier.

It is useful for viewing resources that require a wider panel than you provide for in the layout e.g. some interactives (compare pericopes), clause visualization, regular panels when you want side panels open . . .

Right! I see that. That will be very helpful for my Bible reading time. Thanks.

The issue with the current Beta of macOS Sequoia was fixed, but things could have always been broken again in a new macOS Beta before v36 Beta 1 shipped. Since we needed to get an update out for v35 RC2, I went ahead and pulled the fix over there to avoid having everyone wait until v36 Beta 1 shipped.Mac Developer

For what it's worth, my comment was tongue-in-cheek. Keeping up with OS changes is probably the biggest headache for developers. Logos is one of the most complex programs out there, and certainly the most complex program I use; your programming team has my deep respect.

What do you have selected on the left column? That affects what shows up on the right.

Following up on Kevin's question - your screenshot shows you have the manuscript item selected. Select the lemma item, below that, and you should get what you are looking for
