This may only interest those in the Restoration Movement.
but wanted to repeat this link which I included with a bunch
of other links in a previous post this morning.  It is a really
good book on church History.  "History of the Church" by
Robert H. Brumback (c)1957.  Published originally by the
Mission Messenger of St. Louis.  In is a 428 Page hardback.

Here is the download:   0-History_of_the_Church_Brumback.pdf

I have read this work by Brumback. I also read Where Jesus walked by Brumback in my seminary class at Liberty University.

Jesus walked by Brumback while you were in class at Liberty?  I suppose Brumback was on a first name basis with Jesus.  But then, those who have truly obeyed the Gospel and been born again should be on a first name basis[;)]

Never met Brumback, but I live not too far from where he used to live in Kansas City.  I do recall, however, when I was at Lipscomb University in 1971-1972; came down the stairs from the cafeteria and there was Pat Boone at the bottom of the steps.  In fact, Boone and the song leader where I attended church were roommates at Lipscomb.  Our song leader sang Bass with a Gospel group "The Jordanaires."
