The Essential Lexham Dictionary of Church History

Can anyone tell me what The Essential Lexham Dictionary of Church History has to say about Ignatius of Antioch and or the Gospel of John? I used the search tool on the Logos online catalog. I also tried Google books and Amazon review tabs. But this is a Lexham publication so that makes it a hard task to find samples.

There are some sample pages here: https://lexhampress.com/product/231400/the-essential-lexham-dictionary-of-church-history
Unfortunately, Ignatius of Antioch and the Gospel of John are not among them.
I'm afraid that means you're out of luck. No, we can't copy what it says about Ignatius of Antioch for you. All I will tell you is that it doesn't have an entry on the Gospel of John.
You probably have an article on him in some other reference resource or several, and I don't think the ELDCH would necessarily have anything unique to offer.
If you really want access to its content, though, it's on sale for 50% off for only $30 right now (for one week only, for Logos's Blue Friday flash sale).

Would you be willing to copy its first paragraph or is that outside of bounds?

May I ask you what you hope to gain from this that you can't get from other resources or the Wikipedia article on him for that matter? ELDCH is a very basic dictionary. There are only 4 paragraphs about him in all in there. There's a much longer article on him on Wikipedia. Or even the article in Factbook is longer than what ELDCH gives. Yes, it points to ELDCH for "Further reading" but it won't get you anything, believe me. Just let this go.
Look instead in the sections of Factbook after Media/Events/Works for other resources which you might have in your library, and follow those links.

Hi Rosie. Sorry it has taken me some time to respond. I have been in hosptial with gallbladder issues and an unknown respiratory infection. I have positvely let this one go in my research court. I wanted this article to confirm and reassure my research paths. I see that it is very brief and not needed as you said above. I should have just stayed with Wikipedia and found more substantial stuff in Logos. Thank you once again.
