Comment: Smart Search Synopsis
The synopsis for factual data:
1. The date and place are correct but are derived from the first result (above), especially month and day (the other results only show the year).
2. Please show the Title first to better match the results, which do not show Author.
3 .The last Synopsis (#5) links the Article of the result i.e. "Augustine of Hippo" instead of the Title "Evangelical Dictionary of Theology". It might be a correct citation, but other results have the same Article name whereas book Title is a more consistent reference to the result.
4. I don't see the point of listing 1 thru 5 at the top of the synopsis. Will you list 1 thru 20 for 20 results?
5. Consider numbering the results as a more direct reference from the synopsis.

I would prefer them to be in the footnote style for the style I've chosen in the Program settings.

It threw me a bit at first but aren't this simply the footnote indicators?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks, Dave. One of our design goals was to clearly communicate the source of the data. We debated quite a bit internally how to present that, and eventually settled on using the SBL Handbook citation style.

We considered this as well, and haven't ruled it out yet.

Most synopses will have those footnote indicators sprinkled through the paragraph. For this factual query, all five resources agree, and thus all five are cited.

As I noted on the other thread, we are always sending the AI the results from the top 5 resources. (Not necessarily the top 5 articles; if a resource has more than one article in the top results, we only send the first.)

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what this means. The citations are numbered in the order they are cited in the synopsis (which isn't apparent/ doesn't matter in this example).

You number the sources in the Synopsis, so I was thinking you could do the same for each result. However, I doubt that is possible looking at the generation of the Synopsis.
