When I use a link like this, it opens the Logos Web page in a browser and then it opens the same thing in the Logos Desktop program. Is there a way to force a link only to open in the Desktop program?
Not at this time. Here is a quote from earlier in this thread
Bradley Grainger (Logos) said:(I would like us to use "universal links" or similar to intercept ref.ly links so they open directly in the application rather than opening a web browser first, but I don't know how soon we can implement that.)
Using Logos as a pastor, seminary professor, and Tyndale author

This is something I've never learned to do. What are its uses and is there a training or help file someone can point me to?
You don't have to "do" anything. Just use "Copy as URL" (in the old toolbar) or "Copy Link" (under Share in the Dynamic Toolbar).

Not yet on Windows. (It's something we want to investigate soon.)
It opens the application directly (without a web browser) on macOS, iOS, and Android.
