BUG: Changing layout of search results triggers new search

Whenever I switch between the different layout options for search results (Grid, Verses, Aligned - they are awesome!), a new search is triggered. Especially if the query takes more than a few milliseconds this is a nuisance. Can't the results be stored and re-used for the different layout options?
