Verbum 38.0.0 Crashes Consistently on Start

I have a few Android devices and, since the update yesterday, I cannot start Verbum on any of them. They crash immediately on start.

I've cleared the cache and storage, uninstalled and reinstalled, to bo effect. The app just won't start.

Logos 37.0.3 runs fine.

Devices run Android 11 through 13.
