Sermons: Add Scripture pop-up for references in preaching mode

I like to use my iPad for preaching. I began trying to use Logos’ sermon preach mode but it kicks me to another page to read the passage.

I want to tap a reference in my manuscript during preach mode, and have it pop up so that I don't have to cut and paste massive amounts of text. It's cleans it up and makes for an easier way to navigate the message. Please add this functionality!

Please enable scripture hyperlinks for Preaching Mode when using an iPad. The hyperlinks work in the read-only view of the sermon document on mobile but not in the Preaching Mode.
  • Please also add this to android

I am begging Logos to do this! Thanks!
  • I thought that it already did this. But then I realized that I actually just use split screen to get the same effect. Click a reference jumps to it in the panel on the right side of my screen. What I'd really like is the ability to keep my outline in view in text mode. Because that's not an option, I preach in Edit mode and sometimes I accidentally launch the software keyboard. Not good. But I like to be able to jump to places in my sermon by tapping the outline and I also just like keeping it in front of me to keep my bearings.

This would be a great feature, particularly for longer texts that you don't want to fill your sermon notes. It would be great if you could simply tap on the link in sermon mode and have a pop up window show the text and then tap anywhere outside the pop up to close it. Please, Please, PLEASE!!!!!

If you prepare your sermon in your native tongue, but occasionally have to preach it in another language, it would be very helpfull if the bible references in preaching mode were active, like they are when you read a book, commentary or Bible (the reference shows up in a small local window). If this was the case, all you need to do when you preach the sermon in another language, is to change the preferred bible to the language you are going to preach in, put the sermon in preaching mode, and every time you need to read a bible verse, you just push the bible reference and you get a small local window with the bible verse int the language you are preaching in.

This would also help if you do multilingual preaching. If you prepare your sermon in your native tongue , but occasionally have to preach it in another language , it would be very helpfull if the bible references in preaching mode were active , like they are when you read a book , commentary or Bible (the reference shows up in a small local window). If this was the case , all you need to do when you preach the sermon in another language , is to change the preferred bible to the language you are going to preach in , put the sermon in preaching mode , and every time you need to read a bible verse , you just push the bible reference and you get a small local window with the bible verse int the language you are preaching in.
  • This would be a wonderful feature.
  • This would be a huge blessing!
  • Please add this feature! I purchased the preaching suite because I assumed that preaching mode was able to do this. Why should I have to clutter my outline with entire scripture references when I'm preaching from a Bible app?! It already shows the scripture as a link. Of course it should pop up with the scripture when clicked.
  • I don't use Sermon mode because of this. I use Notes in split screen so I can tap a verse/resource reference and it opens on the other side of the split screen.

I really wanted this to streamline my studies and sermons at church. Surprisingly, I expected to find this on mobile apps, but it doesn't have such a relevant function.

It's a much-needed improvement. I can't understand why this isn't a reality at Logos yet! I often have to preach without using the preaching mode so that I can see the text of the reference.
It would also be nice if there was an option in the open box with the text to scroll up and down to read the context when necessary without having to open the Bible in another tab.

This should be an essential feature , especially for longer texts. I don't want to fill my sermon up with long passage quotes. It would be awesome if you could simply tap on the scripture reference while in sermon mode and have a pop up window show the text and then tap anywhere outside the pop up to close it. Thank you!

Logos please do this. This seems like it should be a very basic feature to have?
