Option On Slide to Jump to a Specific Slide on Next

Can an option be created to allow the user to jump to a certain slide when you hit next? I could probably figure out a way to do this with MIDI signals, but thought I would ask for those that don't use MIDI. For instance in my Service area, I have a Welcome slide, then I have groups setup for my morning and evening services, but the end of the services are common like an altar call, benediction, closing song, etc. When I get to the last slide in the morning service, I have to remember to move to the closing slides after all of the evening slides. This isn't a huge problem while I'm at the presentation desktop, but sometimes I have to backup our song leader and I'm running slides from Proclaim Remote. I have to quickly scroll through all of the afternoon slides to jump to the last slides.

This is an interesting idea! I could see it being very helpful and being super confusing!
I wonder if we could accomplish this with a special QuickScreen to jump to a specific spot. Then you would have this in both the desktop and the Remote and would just click it to jump to the closing slides..
Or maybe a cue you place in the order of service and when you directly navigate to it it jumps to another spot…Mac | iOS | Android | Windows | Web Developer

Here's how I could imagine this working and the two scenarios in which it would work:
1) probably under quick slides, a "jump to" section that can list group titles from the slide deck. To keep it simple, only group titles (because those serve as sections for most users, though any user could put a single slide in a group, so it would be available for any purpose). I'm not sure when my team would ever use this, but that would be the simple way to accomplish it
2) What my team could actually use (especially on the tablet app that controls the slides) is the ability to "jump to" in song slides. Music regularly is a filler during other action (communion, a time of healing prayer, foot washing, etc) that are of variable lengths and we regularly need to jump back and repeat or jump forward and cut parts of the songs to adjust the length. The ability to quickly jump to verse 4 or the final chorus or back to verse 1 would be amazing. Especially on the tablet so that the music team could override the default even without having to contact the av team in the middle of the song.0 -
I like all of the ideas shared. I think this would be useful, especially Tyler's second suggestion for churches that have more impromptu worship styles and want to let the Spirit lead.0

I can see the usefulness of this in an interactive teaching situation where you could answer questions quickly by jumping forward or backwards in the deck quickly without the "thrill ride" of
watching each slide fly by.0 -
We would use such a facility.0

This feature already exists in PowerPoint and Word when you open the documents it will ask to go to the last slide you worked on . It seems it could be incorporated. It also has a "goto" feature in some of the later versions. I think this would increase capability.0

This would be very helpful. There are times when we need to jump through our service as we edit. It would be faster to click on a slide and then go directly “On Air” without using control keys. Also on Mac would like side slide viewer to scroll like timeline. Thanks0

I think having the ability to hide slides/groups has solved my problem, but I think it would still be nice on some slides to have an option to jump to a specific slide.0

I don't personally need or want this feature anymore.0
