Is it possible to have the Logos mobile app include the option for full referencing when coping to external sources - this would be great for assignments and research, especially useful for iPad.

When you copy anything to a note, the reference citation is not appended to it as in the desktop version. This makes using a mobile device impractical for research. Please make the mobile app work the same as the desktop in this regard.

    Have a great day,

Making available every kind of citation style is fine. But what if we don't need all that info and simply want a simple style of citation? How about something like this:

    Genesis 1:1

Simple, clean and easy to use
  • This is a great idea, as sometimes I need to use my iPad for reading and may want to pull a quote - with citations. It would be great to have a toggle for this, as it won't be needed all the time.

I agree, but maybe a little more info like, book title, author, and maybe the page#

Too soon old. Too late smart.

I other Bible programs the biography citation can be copied or turned off. This would help when sending copied text either in email or text messages.

as you well know there is the option of having logos site your resource, this only works on desktop, say you copy from the lexham english bible, it'll automatically site the verses and the copyrights and the resource itself. ipad is definitely powerful enough to do this, we can now select text, the next step is to have it give us the citation to that text, a lot of students I would think are doing their work on ipads now days and having it just telling you say in your bible what verses and version you quoted from isn't good enough in an academic setting. could this please be addressed in a future update? thank you.

I don't know why this is marked parody, this is an excellent idea and something I feel is a long time coming.

many people I would think are using things like ipads for academic papers, I feel that mobile should be able to automatically cite the resource as desktop already does. Example, say I’m using the Calvin commentary set, and a quote from Calvin, it should automatically cite what resource I am quoting from, Calvin‘s commentary along with the copyright. Bring this feature on mobile please. I believe it would be a boon to the student or professor for this particular feature.
  • Would really like this with reference copied into Apple’s Pages and Word. Please copy the verse numbers as superscript as well for both programs.

When text from a resource is highlighted and copied and pasted into a Note there is NO bibliographic citation info included. This only became a problem in L9. Using Galaxy Tab 7S+. This is the most basic functionality there is.

  • iPad Biographical citation capability is fundamental for research while using Logos with my iPad. I use my iPad in airports, and while I am tired in bed with pain in my back. In todays world this is a must. It will give Logos greater appeal to thousands of customers.

It would be great if the iPad/iPhone note app functions like the desktop app when copying from my commentaries and monographs and pasting to my notes anchored to my Bible references.
  • I use the app on Android, and when I copy text from a book, the citations don't get copied like they do on desktop. This really needs to be an option.

Please allow us to copy from Logos books with the citation (and any footnotes, etc.) on iPad as with Mac/Windows.

Yes, please! I came to the forum to voice the exact same opinion.
  • All mobile platforms pls.
  • This is currently a real limitation on doing work while I’m away from my desktop. Having notes insert citation with hyperlink to the source will help continuity of workflows between desktop and ipad
  • Totally on board here. Please, Please! My main desktop stopped working, and I love that I can use my IPad with Logos. But the inability to easily cite the works I quote is a huge road block.
