I was looking for a Greek lexicon of the Septuagint that has the same depth as BDAG for the NT. This is it. This work is essential for any serious study of the lxx. Please, please, please get this published or let us know if not. It costs $120 new. I can wait if it's in the pipeline, but otherwise I'll just have to get it in print.

I agree with the comment from Larry, this is an excellent resource that would be a wonderful addition to logos. Users of bible software benefit from the integration of lexicons into their software more then any other resource. The time saved looking up words via a few clicks compared to physically pulling the book of the shelf and finding the word manually is huge. Keen to see this resource in logos.

Incidentally, or maybe not, I was just looking for a digital copy of this yesterday (seems to not exist in a legal format). I would definitly agree with @Mal Walker  that digital research is a time saver over hard copies, even if I actually prefer reading a hard copy when just reading.

My Greek professor recommended this as the top lexicon of the Septuagint, and I was surprised to find out that Logos does not offer it! I thought this kind of resource would be at the core of Logos' functionality, given many similar resources available. Perhaps there just isn't enough active scholarship in the LXX to drive sufficient demand (or maybe this resource is not as popular). I guess tagging a lexicon is also a sizable undertaking for the Logos staff. But I agree with the previous comments that this resource would be a long-term win for Logos. I am interested in prepub purchasing!

I'm hoping that Logos picks this up soon as it is a quality work, which on face value is on par with the BDAG but for the LXX. Takamitsu Muraoka is 86 and it would be a shame if they waited too long. It would be as if some one translated Walter Bauer's Lexicon from German to Greek, only after he had passed away.
