Could Logos have a "Search tip of the week" as optional in the home page. It could be a card in the "Explore" area.
We humans learn when we need and use something. Thus a regular tip maybe with annual rotation could be a good way to learn search details. A question / feedback feature could be added directly to it so that the tips solve relevant problems.
