Audio Fade

It would be nice to have a built-in adjustable auto fading feature for background audio attached to song slides.
We share a sound board with another congregation, so the less my team has to touch on the sound board the better.

Indeed, if I add audio in PowerPoint, it has a "fade-in" and "fade-out" setting that I can specify the length of both fades (for both audio and audio in video).

In one of our services we're using Master Tracks and we're intermingling spoken items between the verses of a song. In PowerPoint, we not only add the song item to each slide where the song comes back in, but specify start location, fade-in time, end location, and fade-out time. If PowerPoint can do it, why not Proclaim?
  • Yes, I agree. I often take funerals and control proclaim from my iPad.  The coffin comes in with some music playing as the background to a proclaim slide and then when I want to start the service I want to fade out the music gradually over about 5 seconds. It would be great if this feature were available in proclaim.
  • Agreed! Would be great to have some timing control over the Stop Audio cue. For weddings we are often given playlists to play over a looped slideshow or title slide in the prelude with a countdown timer. We stop the audio with a Stop Audio cue, in the transition to the first service slide, but it is an abrupt stop in the middle of the music/song, which is jarring. A nice slow fade out would be much nicer. Currently we try to manually fade out the music with the volume control, but it is tedious.
