SDI Output

"Currently for distributing video to our projectors we output via HDMI and convert to SDI. The additional converter naturally adds several more possible points of failure, and adapters historically can be rather unreliable.
I'd love to see support for direct output via SDI; basically support for video output with something along the lines of a BlackMagic DeckLink Duo or Quad. It would allow for fewer points of failure, a simpler rig overall, and generally more stability."

We are currently using Proclaim in a Mackbook Pro with a couple of dongles, that sometimes fail, to output 3 displays to our ATEM, but we would like to use a Decklink Duo 2 for the Confidence monitor, slides and foreground displays.0

HUGE Request!!! Given the transition by many churches to streaming and video this past year I'm very shocked and somewhat frustrated SDI and decklink aren't already supported in Proclaim. After many attempts to get an HDMI dongle/adapter system working, we've reached our output capacity and have no flexibility to configure our system the way, we want to. We just purchased a new decklink duo 2 and ATEM TV HD system. If Proclaim can't get this SDI and decklink support in the next couple of weeks we'll have to transition to Pro Presenter, (which we really don't want to do, because we really do love Proclaim, but this is a major concern)0

must have! I agree with others why has this not been added???0

Please put a priority on this request! We are considering moving from Proclaim due to the lack of support for SDI output.0

FWIW you can sort of accomplish this by creating an NDI output and then using some software available from the NDI peeps that will let you map an NDI output to a physical SDI output on your system. I got it to work, but it had issues that all seemed to stem from issues with Proclaim's NDI output. For example, I would change slides and the NDI output would stay on the last slide. I didn't spend much time on it because I think the NDI stuff is just terrible, but it's a workaround if someone wants to play with it.0

I just got done installing a new ATEM for a medium size church in CO and had to use BlackMagic UltraStudio Monitor Thunderbolt adaptors to get good integration. Was VERY sad to see Proclaim did not support them and was forced to go back to ProPresenter. This church wants to move to Proclaim. Please add this support!! Also, thank you for adding NDI support. That is a huge help with the church I attend.0

Our church would like to switch to proclaim as well, but this feature is essential! Would love to see it supported!0

So excited to see this feature is in-progress! This will make a huge difference for us0

This feature has been added in Proclaim 3.1.0.0072. Relaunch Proclaim to install the update, or grab the latest version from proclaim.faithlife.com/download.0

Amazing, thank you for listening and adding this feature guys! Tested it yesterday and seems to be working well!
Small bug I found - if I try to change the video channel on one of the decklink duo outputs, it will crash Proclaim. The workaround is to just add all 4 channels one at a time and all 4 will be there. Once that is set up, there's no issues at all.0 -

Now in Proclaim 3.2, you can utilize internal and external keying with support Black Magic devices!0

Does anyone have any experience with using the Blackmagic UltraStudio Monitor 3G converters and if they work?0
