Tags or MyTags? plus bug
What's the difference between the "Tags" column and the "MyTags" column in the Library window?
They show the same data (i.e., tags that I've added), but the Tags column doesn't sort correctly. I think it's broken.
Here's my library sorted by title:
Here's my library sorted by MyTags:
AND NOW, here's my library sorted by Tags:
What?! It's not sorted by the values in the Tags column, even
though the sort arrow in the header bar indicates that it should be. It's actually sorted by title, but it's not respecting the changes to the book names I gave to the MacArthur commentaries (it's using the built-in names). What's up with that?
Clicking on the Title column again gives me back the correct Title sort again.
So what is the Tags column for? and why does it act the way it does?

At the risk of repeating myself...So what is the Tags column for? and why does it act the way it does?

In a future release, you'll be able to see tags from the whole community of users, not just your own. If multiple people (not just one person -- "n" people, with "n" not yet defined) tag a book with the same tag, the tag will be downloaded to everyone's system.
If you don't like community tags, of course, you can hide this column.

I think it's a good idea.
Anyhow, it currently has a bug with sorting.

I'm looking forward to this feature and I'm glad it will have its own column. I would love to see section level tagging rather then simply book level. Seems like it would be a great way to create a topical index of a library. But that's just me being greedy again :-)

I'd like that too, but on an even more granular level: I want to tag verses too.

I'll take the smallest level of tagging I can get :-) However I would want every resource taggable, not just Bibles. I was thinking along the lines of a tagging document (e.g. Notes/Clippings/Tagging documents) . Maybe what I'm looking for could be accomplished through taggable clippings and notes, however I view clippings as smaller segments of reading, whereas I have in mind tagging of sections as focused on a given topic.

Don't you love it when you have a suggestion you realize is already possible :-) I didn't realize Clippings are taggable. That means I can make a Clipping file called "Heading Tags", tag sections according to their topic and have them show up in search results...that's really cool!
