Add book to collection via resource information panel

When I am tagging a book, I sometimes find that it is not included in a collection. It would be nice to be able to add it via the Information panel.

Agreed: the current strategy of finding and opening a collection document is a bit clunky.0

If your collection is built from a rule that includes that tag, it will be updated automatically when you tag the resource.0

It is true that tags could direct a resource into a collection, but I do manually add resources, too. MJ's suggestion is a good one. When I am tagging in Library, the info panel would be just the place to do this. I do see some collections on the information panel, but not all of them. We just need a drop-down menu that lists all of our collections.

Bradley's comment is pertinent. When tagging/rating new books they will be included into existing (dynamic) Collections, else new tags can be used as a temporary collection from Search menus, etc.
When working with multiple books in Library, you can , which gives you an Unnamed Collection with those resource names. That could be a head-start for a new (dynamic) Collection with new tags!?0 -
Previous comment should read "When working with multiple books in Library, you can Save as Collection,....".

Good suggestions! I think programs should make our lives easier and this suggestion would help with that!

The Faithlife team should be more attentive when categorizing a resource. There are many flaws and inconsistencies. There should be one person to review and be responsible for categorizing all the books. And another for quality control.
