I am a professor of historical theology and president of Sattler College. We are an Anabaptist college named after the 16th-century martyr Michael Sattler. As a college, we have a strong emphasis on biblical languages. Because of this, my Hebrew professor talked me into using Logos for every student at Sattler. I originally was not a fan but fell in love when I was able to have so much fun with the patristics. I teach Historical Theology I and 2 so in class 1, the cross-reference power of the patristics won my heart. But then I got to HIstorical theology 2. :-/

You have an excellent collection of Anabaptist writings. But they are only available in large sets of Baptist collections. Last year I wrote to try to get many of these books for my class. I was told that there must be a technical mistake and that soon these books would be available. Here a year later, there seems to be no progress.

Take, for example, “Peter Riedemann’s Hutterite Confession of Faith.” Or even “The Legacy of Michael Sattler.” Sattler is the guy our college is named after, and I can’t even have the students purchase this book through you. If I knew that it simply was not available, that would be one thing. But you show the books on your page which makes us want to buy them.

My guess is that it is a Harold Press problem. Nevertheless, I’m hoping that today if you would know that many of us would be interested in these writings, it might encourage you to release these works. You need a “Radical Reformation Collection” or “Anabaptist/Radical Reformation Collection.” You already have the books; you just need to go to the next level and have them released from the Baptists sets and made available.

If you like, I would be happy to work with a few other Anabaptist scholars to get a list of books from among your collections that would make a good “Anabaptist/Radical Reformation Collection.”

Thanks, guys. I love Logos; keep up the excellent work.
