Default typeface

PLEASE add a simple selection in the settings to change the default typeface for all new slides. (Museo Sans is the default and it's UGLY!)

You can already do this through the Default Media setting0

@kiltuduydi-69 Thanks Bill. But I have to tell you, it is NOT straightforward. I'm pretty good with computers, having used Windows and Mac and Chromebooks. I catch on to things pretty quickly. But something as simple as changing the default typeface for a new slide in Proclaim is UNREASONABLY complex.0

@paul-12 I can't argue that as it took me quite a while to figure it out myself. I think the issue is that most users are simply looking for a basic setting to change the font, while Proclaim is wanting you to create an entire Smart Media template to get the job done. All Faithlife would really need to do would be to add a "Save as default template" button to the slide screen and I think people would understand it after that.0

Thanks for the discussion here! Yes, default media is the way to change the default font. However, I totally agree that a 'save as default template' would be a great idea.
Today you have to: right click on your slide canvas > Customize smart media > save it > go to settings > default media > find the one you just saved....
Definitely could be made to be more easily accessible!0
