"X" next to open books

Please remove the close function next to each open book. It's too busy on the desktop with so many X's. Or at least allow this to be disabled if someone doesn't want all of the X's across the screen. Thanks!

I agree that the addition of the x's on each open book is annoying and distracting. I prefer the close open only being shown on the selected book. If possible please adjust this change back to what version 9 was.

I was looking at my friends new logos 10 and was surprised to see how cluttered it was with all of the “X”s by the open books. There should be a way to turn those off. I’m not planning to upgrade at this time because of this issue.

I agree. I posted a feature request for this same issue several months ago, not realizing one was already going. My feature request is titled: "Panel Tab Overflow: Move "Close Tab" X Button"
