Notes: Option to lock highlights to the book being read

Not sure how other people use highlighting on iPad or iPhone but I think the highlighter is under utilized on mobile devices. it would be nice if the highlights were connected to the books I was reading. I want to quickly pull up all the highlights and notes from one book instead of having countless highlights and notes to search through to find the stuff I'm looking for. Currently I have to make a notebook with the book title. I make a highlight on iPad then I have to edit the highlight and connect it to the notebook with the book title. Every time I make a highlight I have to connect it back to the notebook I created for the book. Please help us save time by connecting a notebook to a book we are reading for taking notes and highlighting.

I agree, this needs to happen!0

You can set a default notebook for highlights in Settings — not exactly what you’re looking for, but better than nothing.0

Yes I would love the option to be able to have it locked or have the option to link it when you choose the highlight to link it to that folder. I forget to change the highlight folder every time I read a different book.0

ABSOLUTELY. Improved filtering for viewing highlights would be great!
