Statistical Restoration (SR) Greek New Testament
The SR is a computer-generated Greek New Testament designed to reflect the most probable text based on statistical analysis using the earliest manuscript evidence with a reasoned eclecticism approach. This represents a fundamental paradigm shift in the field of textual criticism where subjectivity and theological bias of human editors is replaced with more objective statistical and computational methods guided by the principles of Scientific Textual Criticism. An article about its creation was published in TC: A Journal of Biblical Textual Criticism. The SR is released under a Creative Commons open license (CC BY 4.0) and is available as a free download in several formats from GitHub. A hardcopy version has been made available at the publisher’s cost from GlossaHouse, and is also available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
