Make it easier to assign link sets

Currently, the only way to assign panels to link sets is to manually click each one and choose the link set. Doing this one at a time is tedious and time-consuming.

Make it easier and quicker to add panels to link sets by one or more of the following:

1. Make the panels work like tabs in Excel by holding Ctrl while clicking on each panel you want to link together and then right-click to select "assign to link set."

2. Right-click on a panel tab and select "create link set" or "link panels" or similar, which enables checkboxes on all open panels. Then you can check all the ones you want to add to the link set. Hit Esc or click anywhere outside the panel checkboxes after you're done.

3. Have a right-click menu from the link set letters to assign linkset: to This book, Books in this panel, All open books (copied from another user's UserVoice suggestion)

4. Have a keyboard shortcut to assign a link set eg. Ctrl+Alt+A/B/C/D/E/F (copied from another user's UserVoice suggestion)

These wouldn't all necessarily be mutually exclusive, there should be multiple ways to quickly and easily link panels so different users can use the method that works best for their situation.

I was about to suggest something similar. The individual approach to linking resources to sync works well when linking 2 or 3 resources. But I personally usually like to link as many as 10 sources to sync. That does become tedious one at a time. It would be wonderful if you could somehow highlight all the resources you wish to link together and then link them together all at once.
