New Home Page run Passage Guide

This may have gotten lost amongst all the install and indexing problems reported after the Beta5 release notes.... (shouldn't these go in the appropriate sub-forum).
In the Beta 5 Release notes Bradley wrote:

What problem does this solve? What is the point of this?
Information comes up blank. Not very appealing. Is this really something we need as soon as we run a passage guide?
The compare bible versions is redundant given that the bible versions are already opened in their own panes.
