Prayers: Several Mobile Improvements

Several changes could significantly improve the mobile Prayers experience.

In iOS, Prayers opens up a pane over the existing tab rather than a new tab. You can't switch tabs until you close that pane, and you can't have a tab dedicated to prayers that you can leave open. Please change to match the Android implementation.

Add search functionality so you can search all in prayers and answers for text.

Even better, add tag functionality from Desktop to Mobile. As is, it doesn't make sense to use tags if they are not implemented on Logos Mobile.

Add the ability to reorder prayers into a set order. Currently desktop and mobile have a different order. One is alphabetical and one is by date created.

Add the ability to change a prayer's prayer list after the prayer is created. When you create a prayer, if you click on the prayer list it gives you the opportunity to change it, but after it is created clicking on the prayer list does nothing.

On today's prayers, you are able to see the prayer title and whether it is public or private. It would be much more helpful to see the name of the prayer list rather than whether it is private, since the name of the prayer list gives additional context.

I like using the prayer list feature in the desktop app, but found the mobile app to be confusing and more difficult to understand. A rework of the UI in the mobile app to make it more intuitive would be welcome. Thank you!

I find the prayer list in the current iOS / iPAD Version pretty unusable. I would love to have a similar experience as the desktop Version, so the Prayer window can be added as a Tab in the workspace.
Also, as someone added in another Idea, it would be perfect as a widget.
  • Also allow verse references to be hyperlinked as you do in notebooks
