As a user I’d like to be able to

1. Set a default notebook for my study from either the layout or the resource. In this case, I created a named layout called Judges Study (which opens my resources and a notebook called Judges Study).
2. From the resource that I am using, in this case the Judges, A 12-Week Study, I’d like to have the questions I answer in the question boxes default to adding the answers as a note to the Judges Study notebook I created instead of the general Notes.

  • Whether or not it's attached to a particular layout, being able to set a default notebook at all would be valuable. Yes, there are ways to have one open, or to choose from the full right-click context menu where to add a note. But I typically just want to highlight a single word and use the immediate menu option to "Add Note".

I agree with Default Notebook facility. This would make Logos more user-friendly, especially for beginners or as a quick method when trying to do a study to meet a deadline. You just want to get your thoughts down and easy to relocate.
  • Yes absolutely this feature would be so helpful for devotionals and lectionaries
