Faithlife/Logos/Verbum committed to more than they could deliver in a timely manner when it comes to tagging. They cut their losses by distinguishing between research editions and readers editions - a reasonable move; however, for researchers, writers, and professors the dividing line used by Faithlife fails to meet their needs. Sermons, personal letters, lectures backlog is moving so slowly that a recent post on the forums asked if they were still being update. It is clear that Faithlife is not in a position to assign sufficient personnel to this problem to handle the backlog quickly.

I suggest that Faithlife build a tool that allows users to fill in this data with some restrictions to guarantee quality data:
(1) The software tool is a separate purchase (or rental) that is not included in any base packages
(2) It is marketed as a tool to allow professors, researchers, teachers, and writers to mark up resources they need for their work
(3) Either require approval from Faithlife to move the data to "production" or set a threshold of errors which when exceeded require the return of the tagging software
(4) Allows adding missing data to existing labels
(5) A priority channel for necessary Factbook entries and corrections as needed to code the tags correctly.
(6) consider label for hymns, poetry, prayers, and visual arts existing only as user generated data

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
