Placing specific pages of books is Favorites. For example, devotional pages.

@Jorge Morán  You can add a sentence or passage to your Favorites by selecting the desired text and clicking "Favorites" in the selection menu that pops up.

  • I agree! This is a big limitation!! Logos does not have a bookmark feature like Kindle. The best/only way with Logos 9 to keep track of ongoing and devotional reading was to add a favorite with a resource and page number. Logos is of less value to me on a daily basis without this feature, or some other way to keep track of where I left off in my reading.

Per the recommendation provided: “You can add a sentence or passage to your Favorites by selecting the desired text and clicking "Favorites" in the selection menu that pops up.”
There may be a bug in this function:
    • Most of the time when I select (highlight) a section, I get a pop up that has icons for “copy, share, note, search inline, search, clip, and visual copy.” However, these are fixed and do not slide to the right to get any additional icons.
    • Sometimes, I when I select a passage, I get pop-up with no icons. If I swipe to the right, I get the seven icons listed in the previous bullet, but they are still fixed (do not slide to the right).
    • **A couple of times when I selected a passage, the icons did slide to the right, and an icon for favorites did show up. It is difficult and inconsistent for me to replicate this. It seems to occur most when I just tap the screen once to select a passage, rather than swipe/drag to select a passage. A few times when I have done this, I first get pop-up without any icons. If I swipe to the right, I get the icons. Then I able to swipe again to the right and I get the icon for “favorite.” I have not been able to replicate this consistently enough to rely on using it. Most of the time, I never see the favorites icon or any of the additional icons.

For the most part, I use Logos similar to how the general population uses Kindle, i.e. to read. Logos is wonderful, especially with the ability to link to a referenced passage. For version 9, I have used the favorites function to keep track of the books I am reading and where I left off when I was reading previously. I have multiple pages of resources/pages I am tracking in favorites. Without this feature, I need to adopt a manual method to track my reading progress.
  • Hello, Attached is a screenshot of the Logos Mobile App - Favorites Screen.   As explained in my comments above, it is a very random and infrequently that I get this screen.   Most of the time the pop-up has fixed icons and don't slide over to get the "favorites" icon.   This seems to indicate that the functionally is in the code, but there is a bug how it is called and displayed.
Note: I am using the Logos Mobile App on a LG Gpad5 10.1 Android Tablet

I've tried it. When I tap on a text, the app makes automatically a selection and the complete popup screen appears. But when I drag and select a text, an incomplete popup screen appears, without favorites. This seems to be a bug.
