Show only requested passage

A common question in the forums is "how do I show just one verse" or it's cousin "how do I show only the passage I requested." I suggest that Logos implement two additional reference options:
/Jn 3:16-17/ would show only those two verses; the remainder of the pain would be blank.
*Jn 3:16-17* would show the two verses as normal but would fade/gray out the preceding and following text - this would be useful in a teaching setting to focus on a particular part of the text under discussion.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Is the suggestion to filter out all other text in a _resource_ panel, or somewhere else? Can you point me to some of the forum threads where this is discussed? Thanks.0
