"User books," "Personal books," "notes" and more, an in-app word processor/ book creation tool.

Rather than merely an "import personal books" feature, it would be awesome to have something very like Wordsearch's "User Books" feature. I'm excited for the day when they can migrate our User books over, but also very excited because a feature like that would have the potential to do so very much more than "personal books" feature currently does in Logos. It would also solve some of the issues and requests people have with notes, personal lexicons, and other things I've seen people talking about. If Logos had an in-house feature where people could create a Dictionary/Lexicon style book, or a Commentary style book, or a journal style book. Where entries were based on a key phrase/word, or by verses, or by dates, etc. then people could create the sort of cross-linking content they like using features of Logos "in house" rather than the clunky process of creating "personal books", getting the link-style right, and then importing them only when finished. They would be able to create a "working" commentary and use it before it was finished with their other resources, linking to other books in the library, and lexicons, strongs numbers, word studies, etc. Then Logos could truly port the "user books" over from Wordsearch into that tool. Would be awesome to have a system like that in Logos. I understand that it would also be a lot of work on the part of the Logos team. Thanks for all the wonderful work you folks do! I love being able to use Logos!

I was mot a Wordsearch user, but would LOVE to see Logoos add Word Processing capability into Logos
with the ability to create our own word processed documents from scratch?*
The Logos Guides, Workflows, Notes Tool, etc.are all Great ... but
sometimes I just want and need a blank sheet I can create from myself, and
have it integrated into the Logos world.
I personally think that would be a very well received feature...0 -
This is a great idea!
I would journal feature!
It would also be nice to create longer projects, with more information than I would use when I preach.0 -
How do I acquire the Logos' Personal Books tool

The Personal Book Builder is already included in the Desktop version of Logos for free, there is nothing you need to buy or install separately. But as the name suggests, you can use this only to add books to your personal Logos library, this is not a way to publish books to others, not sure if that was clear.
There is a lot of information about this here: https://community.logos.com/kb/articles/2181
