I don't want to buy an English book, if there is the German original (or a german translation.) If the title isn't a direct translation, it isn't obvious often.

I share your pain and like this idea. This may be a little challenging to pull off, though, so don't expect a solution any time soon. In the meantime, maybe it helps if you click on the author's name and see what results come up - you can even get a run-down of the available languages in the sidebar. logos.com lists every single book in our catalog, so be sure to perform your search there.
