The ability to highlight multiple things seperately in the same instance

I would find the ability to highlight multiple things separately by using the CTRL key like you can on windows (just not in The Bible software) to be extremely handy. That you first highlight with CTRL and then the pop up of what colour you would like to use or whatever it is you want to do with it would come up after.
It's not that it's annoying because after all it's just clicking but when I'm trying to highlight specific things that refer to a theme or pattern it would be so much more convenient if I could CTRL+highlight multiple verses that are separate from one another in the same instance. Rather than going through and individually highlighting them. Or even the ability to do this in notes to delete multiple specific things simultaneously when I'm copy+pasting from the web or some other source.
